Inspired by culture,

designing for connection.

Hi! My name is Anika Dua and I’m a Los Angeles raised, globally inspired designer. My interest and dedication to reaching outside of my comfort zone has manifested into a love of fashion, food, travel, and most of all — designing big ideas that inspire meaningful connections.

I find my greatest inspirations nestled in obscure experiences and even within the simplest conversations. As a South Asian woman, my lifelong inclination toward the creative world was perceived as taboo. Despite adversity, I pushed forward and pursued a career in professional design with an unwavering resilience, and an evolving appreciation for the beauty of challenges stimulating creativity.

My strong affinity for my heritage has taught me a great love for nuance, storytelling, and empathy. With this knowledge and appreciation, I design with the intent to revolutionize the cultural landscapes we interact with every day. I find meaning in every connection, environment, and embrace the experiences and perspectives of others.

When I’m not designing you can find me curating playlists for hyper-specific moods, sifting through vintage jewelry archives, and likely finding a new viewpoint to stare deep into city lights.

Feel free to reach out, I’d love to inspire each other.
